Choosing a degree program 

After graduating from high school (or college) a world of knowledge is open to you. You are free to choose almost any direction. The question is, which one, as choosing isn’t always easy. It is however really important to choose the right program right from the start. Doing so will save time, money and disappointment. But how does one choose the right degree program? Start by informing yourself well!

Getting well informed

Start early and take your time when choosing a degree program. Look around extensively and collect good information. Do not limit yourself only to information, given to you by the dean or from folders but also browse the books prescribed for the degree program. Browsing the books will give a good insight into the degree program. Try to talk to a student or alumnus from the degree program that has your preference. Someone like that can provide you with a lot of information not found elsewhere.

Studying at the UoC means studying at a young, dynamic and fast growing university in a tropical environment. The UoC is centrally located, close to the airport, 10 minutes from the centre of town and at walking distance from supermarkets, banks and various shopping centers.

Tuition Fee

Tuition fee 2015/2016: 5045,- ANG for a Bachelor study  and 7045,- ANG for a regular Master study.

Introduction Week

An introduction week is organized for our 1st year students at the beginning of each academic year. This is a week, organized by senior students and coordinated by the Student Affairs in which, on an educational, social and recreational level you will get acquaintanted with the university, your fellow students and your new study environment.

Accommodation

You can live independently on campus at the UoC in your own room in a community with other students. Obviously, this is an excellent opportunity to learn to live independently and take care of yourself. For more information check the campus page.

Sports facilities

As a student you also have access to the various sports facilities at the UoC. The numerous sports clubs perform well locally and internationally. We offer the following sports at the UoC: football, volleyball, basketball, softball, mini-football and dominos. The sports clubs also arrange annual competitions between the different faculties, but also tournaments in which high schools (colleges) and other institutes of higher education are invited to participate.
