UoC Business School
UoC Business School offers the following Bachelor Programs and Master Program.

Bachelor of Science program Accounting
Have you always enjoyed working with numbers? Would you like to work in accountancy or financial departments? If you are a VWO graduate, you can obtain a bachelor degree in Accounting in three years. HAVO and SBO graduates need to complete the propaedeutic year before enrolling in the accounting bachelor program. The accounting program at the UoC trains students primarily in the preparation and auditing of financial reports. Which are the main tasks of controllers and auditors.

Bachelor of Science in Business Administration
Are you a team-player and are you interested in the processes that play a role in the management of a business or enterprise? VWO graduates can obtain a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration in three years. HAVO and SBO graduates need to complete the propadeutic year before enrolling in the bachelor program.The program offers trainings to develop the knowledge and skills which are needed to become a manager, advisor, entrepreneur, or researcher.

Bachelor of Applied Science in International Business Management
The international business administrator is a discussion partner for experts in fields like finance, marketing, organization and cultural management. Having specialized knowledge in the area of international business and the more social and cultural aspects of an organization, he can deal with complex managerial problems and has insight in various aspects of management and the way they interrelate.

Bachelor of Applied Science in Financial Management
By opting for this study you will be educated to become a professional, who has insight into financial planning, financial controlling and financial decision-making in order to manage a company's finances efficiently and effectively . When and how to invest, buy or sell, these are aspects a financial manager deals with within a company. A graduated student can work in big and small corporation, banks and non-governmental entities as a finance officer, controller, treasurer, credit manager, cash manager, risk and assurance manager, or other related position.

Bachelor of Applied Science in Marketing Management
After finishing this study, you will be able to develop marketing strategies, drawing from your acquired knowledge of current societal and market developments. You will not only be able to predict the social and economic impact of marketing activities for the other disciplines, but will also be able to communicate them within the organization.

Bachelor of Applied Science in Business Communication
Tackling complex managerial issues and deploying communication in the various phases of policy making process. That’s what you will be learning in this study, by developing specialized knowledge about organizations, their management and their more social aspects.

Bachelor of Applied Science in Information Management
This study (formerly known as Internet-based Information Systems and) is about learning to act as the linking-pin between an internal ICT support department and management in an organization and to facilitate collaboration between these two disciplines. You will be acquiring specialistic knowledge about the internet and information systems for the development of information systems and web-applications.

Bachelor of Applied Science in Fiscal Law & Economics
In the Netherlands Antilles there are not many tax specialists. We need specialists: the tax specialists ! After finishing this program you will be able to understand the complicated tax legislation and execution of tax regulations. As a tax specialist you can work in the whole spectrum of the fiscal world. Tax specialists are employed by government entities, the trust sector and in tax consultant offices.

Master of Science Accounting
After finishing the bachelor program of Accounting, you can enroll in the master program in Accounting at the UoC. This program will start for in January 2010.

Admission requirements for the Business School
- A completed VWO-education for the Science (three-year) programs
- A completed VWO-, HAVO- or SBO education for the Applied Sciences (four-year) programs
- If you don’t meet the abovementioned requirements and you are 23 years or older, you can register for a colloquium doctum exam. The purpose of this exam is to test whether you have sufficient command or knowledge of the subjects which are mandatory to enroll in the program. The colloquium doctum exam is organized once or twice a year and will be announced in the local newspapers and on the website of the UoC. Link to the colloquium doctum document.

Career prospects
Several of our graduates are now working in local organizations like Trust agencies, The Big Four companies, Curoil, ISLA N.V., banking institutions, government, etc. Some of them also started their own professional businesses.
